(1) When wearing a watch, the sweat on your hands can corrode the case. You should often use a soft cloth to wipe off the sweat or place a plastic watch holder to prevent it from being eroded by sweat.
(2) Do not open the back cover of the watch casually to prevent dust from entering the movement and affecting the normal operation of the watch.
(3) Do not put your watch in the wardrobe with Mothball to avoid the deterioration of the watch oil.
(4) Do not place the watch on the stereo or TV to avoid magnetization.
(5) Watches that have been stored for a long time and are not worn should be regularly wound once a month, while watches with automatic movements should be gently swung back and forth for a few minutes or worn on the wrist for a period of time to automatically tighten the winding. To prevent the parts from being stationary for a long time, in order to ensure the operational performance of the watch machine.
(6) If a regular mechanical watch is damp, you can press dry cotton on it and bake it with a 40 watt light bulb for 5 minutes. The moisture inside the watch can evaporate. If the quartz electronic watch is damp, several small pieces of calcium chloride can be taken and wrapped in gauze; Then open the cover of the Electric watch, put the wrapped calcium chloride and the Electric watch into an airtight plastic bag or glass bottle, and seal them. Generally, the moisture can be removed in about 3 hours to make the Electric watch return to normal. For surfaces that are severely affected by moisture, the moisture absorption time can be appropriately extended.
(7) When removing the outer packaging of a watch, be sure to keep the protective packaging box used for the watch. These protective watch packaging boxes can provide the safest protection for watches when they are not worn normally, avoiding damage or collision. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to keep the packaging boxes.
(8) It is best not to wear the same watch every day. Instead, prepare several different watches for alternating use. This not only enriches your personal appearance, but also prevents dust and body dirt from being concentrated on the same watch.
(9) Don't sleep with your watch on your wrist. If it is a luminous watch, it can have adverse effects on your body. This is because the luminous material coated on the pointer and dial of the luminous indicator is mainly a mixture of radium and Zinc sulfide. The radiation emitted by radium can stimulate the Zinc sulfide crystal to emit light, which will damage the body.
(10) Renovation of the surface. After many scratches are made on the watch cover, you can first drop one or two drops of water on the watch cover, and then squeeze a little toothpaste to wipe it off, which can remove the scratches and make the watch cover look new.
